It is often the case that mums feel like life is one long treadmill of chores, work and planning. We forget to enjoy many aspects of life such as finding time to spend with the family and taking much-needed time-out from the grindstone!
It is also true that mums don’t give themselves enough credit for the good work they do and the success they achieve in life. So here are a few typical events in life that call for the occasional ‘Time Out Treat’ (in no particular order):
- Getting the housework done on the day you planned to do it. TREAT: a cup of tea and your favourite biscuit with your feet up.
- Earning a promotion at work. TREAT: a night out with your partner or friends (without the kids!)
- Getting round to booking the car in for an overdue service. TREAT: A quick catch up on the phone with a friend.
- Helping your child understand their homework topic and they achieve an ‘A Grade’ as a result. TREAT: Quality time together.
- Winning a new contract for your business. TREAT: A mini facial at your local beauty salon.
- Helping a friend with a personal issue. TREAT: A long soak in the bathtub! (more…)

The key is continued motivation. If you set the bar too high, you risk failing.
3. Write it down
A simple yet powerful technique that generates commitment and drive. Write your goal on a piece of paper and stick it where you’ll see it daily. (more…)

Trying to achieve life-long ambitions can be a long, challenging and very rewarding occupation. However, many of us often sabotage our own success by fostering limiting beliefs and negative thoughts that diminish confidence and lessen self-esteem.
Success can only be achieved by adopting a positive attitude. Believing you can succeed will empower you to give your very best to accomplishing your goals. Always remember, whether you think you can or can’t, you are right.
Set yourself some personal goals: things you really want to achieve. Write them down and keep them to hand at all times to provide a positive focus. Now, consider all the negative thoughts and limiting beliefs that are holding you back from achieving these aspirations. (more…)

Tracey Wall, 40, finds helping others is the perfect way to live a wonderful life. Tracey lives in Cheshire with her husband and five year old daughter.
During a holiday on the west coast of Wales, I realised my life was not the perfect picture I envisaged it would. From the outside, everything seemed wonderful. I had a caring husband and a beautiful daughter who both loved me very much. Not only that, but I had a successful career working in management in the finance sector. With the support of my family and friends close by, life really couldn’t get much better. (more…)

Coaching is…
…supporting you to move from where you are now to where you want to be, by:
Identifying and clarifying your dreams and aspirations
Helping you to recognise obstacles that stop you achieving goals
Supporting you to overcome and remove these obstacles
Guiding and accelerating your journey to life-long achievement
Coaching is not…
…counselling or therapy. We do not delve into deep routed issues or provide advice.
We provide coaching specific to you as what is right for one is not necessarily right for another as no two people are the same or have the same set of circumstances. (more…)
