Personal coaching packages tailored specifically for busy mums offer great benefits that boost self-confidence, energy and well-being.
Many mums tend to focus solely on the needs and aspirations of their children. It is common for them to lose sight of the ambitions and goals they had for themselves before they had children. This generous act towards their children might be self-less, but it does little for the self-esteem, well-being and happiness of these women.
If this sounds familiar to you, it is quite possible that your life lacks direction, you often feel out of control and you experience high levels of stress. Personal coaching can help to improve your situation and support you to get your life back on track. (more…)

The key to enjoying life confidently and passionately is to celebrate the woman you are! You are many things – a mum, a wife, a partner, a friend, a daughter, a work colleague, a PTA member – and you should be proud of all the things you achieve for yourself and your family on a daily basis.
Being a mum is extremely rewarding but it can be exhausting. When you are so busy attending the needs of others, you can often forget about your own needs and quickly become resentful and under valued. It is important, therefore, to ensure you value yourself, your time and your qualities – doing this will ensure you make the most out of every experience in life. (more…)

Life as a single mum can be challenging and exhausting, especially around this time of year when all the shops are filled with heart-shaped balloons! Here are some top tips to help you improve your confidence and take control of your life and its direction.
1. Congratulate yourself for doing an amazing job under difficult circumstances. Children bring us endless pleasure but bringing them up alone can often be demanding and overwhelming. Acknowledging everything you do to ensure your child is happy and content should make you feel proud.
2. Ensure you are happy about your self-image. This doesn’t just relate to your physical presence but the skills you have to offer. It should only matter what you think and nobody else. Celebrate everything about yourself and have confidence in the person you are.
3. Allow yourself some quality ‘me time’. Schedule some time off by booking a babysitter or forming a babysitting group with mums in a similar situation to you.
4. List your life-long goals and plan how you can achieve them. Being a single mum should not stop you from living your life according to your needs and aspirations.
5. Enjoy time spent with your friends. Take the time to catch up with friends and have a good time together. Try to arrange the odd night out but if this isn’t possible, invite them round to your house and share each other’s news over a glass of wine. Share challenges and ways to overcome them: remember a problem shared is a problem halved! (more…)

Choose what you really want to achieve and believe that you can accomplish it.
2. Be realistic
The key is continued motivation. If you set the bar too high, you risk failing.
3. Write it down
A simple yet powerful technique that generates commitment and drive. Write your goal on a piece of paper and stick it where you’ll see it daily. (more…)

As Big Ben chimes in the New Year, many of us will be making resolutions in the hope they will change our lives for the better. So how can we make certain that such aspirations will be achievable and enable us to live life according to our own set of needs, desires and values?
Effective goal setting is the key. The first and often hardest step is to identify realistic goals that you believe will change your life for the better. A tip here is to consider all the life-long aspirations you have held but never pursued due to lack of time, self-confidence or both.
How realistic are your aspirations? Do you believe you can achieve these objectives alongside all your other day-to-day duties, such as working, running a busy household and spending quality time with your family? (more…)

As mums, we are forever instilling independence into our children and delight in their individuality. As young, single women, it was important to identify our own individuality and we thrived from it. However, as the role of ‘mum’ is adopted, we automatically forget about the things that we personally enjoy and quickly learn to disregard our own individual needs and desires.
When you have young children, life begins to get hectic and daily challenges quickly define your role as The Mum. However, if you continue to be consumed by this single position in life, you will soon start to feel resentful, frustrated and unfulfilled with life. (more…)

Trying to achieve life-long ambitions can be a long, challenging and very rewarding occupation. However, many of us often sabotage our own success by fostering limiting beliefs and negative thoughts that diminish confidence and lessen self-esteem.
Success can only be achieved by adopting a positive attitude. Believing you can succeed will empower you to give your very best to accomplishing your goals. Always remember, whether you think you can or can’t, you are right.
Set yourself some personal goals: things you really want to achieve. Write them down and keep them to hand at all times to provide a positive focus. Now, consider all the negative thoughts and limiting beliefs that are holding you back from achieving these aspirations. (more…)

Negative thoughts will limit the way you live your life. Limiting beliefs prevent you from fulfilling your true aspirations and can destroy your confidence, self-esteem and ultimately your future.
If you are desperate to take control of your life’s direction, but have doubts and excuses that prevent the necessary changes from taking place, you will be harbouring damaging negative thoughts and limiting beliefs.
Do these statements sound familiar?
- I won’t get the job so I shan’t waste time in applying.
- I was hopeless at maths in school so how can I possibly help my daughter with her homework?
- I’ve tried to lose weight so many times; I don’t see how this new diet could work.
