Rural Women In Business Training Day

Earlier this month, Tracey was delighted to attend the annual Rural Business Women Training Day as a key guest speaker. The day took place at Reaseheath College, Nantwich and was attended by thirty ladies who were given the opportunity to learn about self-generating PR for business and how to maintain a healthy work/life balance.

Tracey was in good company: the other guest speakers on the day included:

Rose Rowland gave a great insight into holding down a successful career whilst being a busy working mum.
Partner, Howard Worth

Katie Lomas provided an insight into what reporters are looking for as well as great tips to help get businesses gain press coverage and how to write an attention-grabbing press release.
Reporter, Farmers Guardian

Susanne Price presented the grants currently available to rural businesses.
Enterprise Delivery Hub, Reaseheath

Marnie Dobson presented a case study of her business. Marnie discussed the challenges the company has overcome, how the business has been marketed and how she manages to maintain a healthy work life balance.

Tracey provided solutions that help improve the work/life balance of busy mums who juggle business commitments and home life. The participants took part in an enlightening exercise. The ladies were asked to rate how content they felt about key aspects of their lives and identify how of the results impacted on their work/life balance.

The participants and speakers enjoyed some wonderful networking over lunch and a great day was had by all. Tracey would like to thank all the ladies at Rural Women In Business for their warm reception and Howard Worth for the opportunity to share how she has achieved her ideal balance whilst juggling life as a busy mum and owner of two successful businesses.
